Crazy Legs, one of the original members of Rock Steady Crew at only 10 years old, is now considered the dominant force behind the movement of b-boy culture world-wide.
Growing up poor in the projects of the Bronx, Crazy Legs saw the destruction of gang activity that his fellow Puerto Ricans were involved in. Choosing to make something of himself rather than getting sucked into the gang life, he saw hip hop and especially breakdancing as a way out.
His first commercial exposure was as a street dancer in the movie Flash Dance. This was the first time breakin was seen by a natioanl audience on the big screen.  He since has appeared in many movies including Beat Street, Wild Style and Style Wars.
Crazy Legs has also appeared in television commercials for major corporations including Coca Cola, Verizon and Nike.   Legs co-produced and starred in the documentary movie The Freshest Kids: History of the B-boy.
As a member of the Rock Steady Crew, Crazy Legs has performed in tributes to the Nicholas Brothers at Kennedy Center, Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Variety Performance and the Boston Ballet to name a few.
What began in the Bronx, Crazy Legs has taken b-boy culture through out the US, and around the world to Japan, Australia, South America and Europe.
